Guidelines & Deliverables

Research Proposal Guidelines

Please provide the following outline elements in the proposal. Proposals must be submitted using the provided template.

Proposals need to include the following:

  • Proposal Title
  • Principal Investigator Names and Affiliations
  • Experimental Design / Project Execution
  • Proposed Benefit to the Livestock Industry(s)
  • Deliverables to JBS
  • Detailed Budget-Include direct and indirect costs
  • Project Timeline

Please submit proposals via PDF or Microsoft Word as an attachment to the JBS USA Grant submission portal here by (insert date here).

Deliverables

If your grant is funded a bi-annual report is required and a final reported with the study findings are required. Additional, on farm/ facility visits may be a part of the deliverables depending on the grant.

Please submit your fully developed proposals by 5 p.m. MST to the JBS Proposal Submission Site.
